Mike Guajardo-Bennett is a short fiction writer. He grew up in Arlington, TX and received his B.A. in Film, Television, and Digital Media from Texas Christian University. His honors include the David Vanderwerken Short Story Award and the Siddie Joe Johnson Poetry Award. He volunteers as a first reader for West Trade Review. He currently lives in Manhattan, where he works with families at the Ronald McDonald House, collects vintage film posters, and dreams of his home state.
